Millau caving
Caving in Millau is an activity open to both beginners and experts, from the age of 8.
There are caves to suit everyone’s tastes, with varying degrees of difficulty, from beginner ‘découverte’ caves to challenging outings.
On a beginner caving trip, you’ll explore caves with a more horizontal profile, making them easier to access. Delve into the heart of the underground galleries full of history. In many cases, you’ll need to walk for around twenty minutes to reach the cave entrance.
For the challenging caving option, you’ll be venturing into caves with a more vertical profile.
Vertical means that you will often need a harness and a rope to abseil down into the cave.
This package is therefore reserved for fairly sporty people with some caving experience.
