The activies
Looking for an extra dose of adrenaline? You must absolutely try out our new Stand-up paddling activity in Millau: SUPs and Jumps! This combined activity of Stand Up paddling and jumps (from rocks) is similar to canyoning and is practised on the rivers around Millau.
After meeting up at our base in Millauyour guide will give you some initial instructions about the activity.
Depending on where you choose to practice, you may need to bring your own vehicle for a journey time of around 20 minutes.

Information
What equipment do I need for canoeing / stand-up paddling ?
You should bring a swimming costume, trainers or water shoes, a snack, water, sun cream and sunglasses.
We provide: Stand Up Paddle board, one double paddle per person, waterproof container, lifejacket, helmet.

STAND-Up Paddle
There are several places in and around Millau to go stand-up paddling.
On the Tarn river, you can start from Millau and go under the famous Millau Viaduct.
You can also go further downstream in the vallée du Tarn, to the village of Saint Rome de Tarn in the vallée des Raspes.
This route takes you as far as the Truel hydroelectric dam. Along the way, you’ll see plenty of wild and spectacular scenery.
It’s the perfect way to have fun and cool off during the summer.

Stand up paddling in Millau :a range of activities
SUP and Jumps in Millau is an activity supervised by a qualified guide.
In Millau, you can try out this super fun activity on the Tarn river. SUP boards are inflatable boards, so before you start, you need to inflate them with a pump so that they are ready to use. Once you’ve done that, it’s time to get out on the water and test your balance. With the first falls, the giggles begin.
There are several formats for your stand-up paddling outing in Millau. SUP boards, which are for 1 or 2 people, and Mega Crafts, which are for up to 8 people.
SUP & jumps is a rather modern way of practising stand-up paddling. For 3 hours, you can paddle alone, in a team or as a family.
During this activity, jumps are not compulsory.
